ub Ultimate Bet Adjusts UBOC ScheduleUltimate Bet adjusted the schedule of its Ultimate Bet Online Championship when it transformed what was a $5,000 + $200 event into a $300 + $20 event. The event will remain a six-handed no limit holdem tournament, the only things that have changed is the buy-in and the guaranteed prize pool, which has gone from $1 million to $300,000.

The change was made in order to make the poker series more accessible to the many Ultimate Bet players who wanted a chance to compete at the UBOC. Speaking about the change, Annie Duke said “We’ve listened to our players, modified our UBOC tournament schedule and repositioned one of our championship tournaments within reach of more online poker players.”

The Ultimate Bet Online Championship is a twelve tournament series that begins on January 9th with $100 + $9 Pot Limit Omaha Rebuy event and concludes on January 18th with the $1,000 + $50 $1,000,000 Guaranteed UBOC Championship event.

Ultimate Bet also offers a mini-UBOC where the buy-ins are 10% of the UBOC’s, while also removing the two championship events from the schedule, offering a total of ten tournaments.
