money Huge prize pool tournaments on FullTiltFullTiltPoker has announced the start date for their $25k Heads-up Championship.  Starting May 23rd, the fun will begin when many top pros, known and unknown, will duke it out for first prize.  Any player can participate in this event.  Now many people may not have the $25k to put up for their buy-in, but satellites will be running throughout the week so everyone has a chance to get their hands on some prize money.  The only drawback to this event is if you do qualify via satellite, you cannot cash in your tournament dollars and sell it, you must play in the event.  Many familiar top pros such as Phil Ivey, Huck Seed, and Chris “Jesus” Ferguson will be seen playing.
This event is shortly after the major FTOPS event which is winding down to a close and will be finished this Sunday, May 17th.  Luckily it’s not too late to qualify with a token or to buy in for the FTOPS main event which starts early Sunday and will last two days.  The buy-in is a $2,500 + 12 fee.  If the main event may be too rich for your blood, then the miniFTOPS main event is for you.  This event will be running the same time as the FTOPS main event with a buy-in of $250 + $16.  The prize pool for this event will be a nice $200k.
