Absolute Poker for Mac
January 18, 2007
There is good news for Mac poker players. Absolute Poker has announced that they will be offering Mac compatible software very soon.
The software will be java-based, meaning that it will be a no download version which both Mac and Windows players will use. Typically no-download software is of slightly less quality than download software, but as I have not seen the software, only seen Absolute Poker’s announcement of its impending arrival, I cannot say with any authority what the quality of the Mac compatible software will be.
Absolute Poker is a rising star in the online poker industry, and has been quick to take advantage of the gap in the U.S poker market caused by Party Poker and PokerRoom leaving due to the new Internet Gambling Prohibition Act. Absolute is in the U.S. market to stay, and now they are going to bring a new source of Mac poker as well.
Absolute Poker is currently offering a 100% deposit bonus up to $750, so if you are a high stakes poker player, you should definitely consider playing at Absolute Poker.
