Born May 8, 1951, Humberto Brenes is one of the most unique poker players in the world. He is often seen at the poker table wearing a colorful track suit, a visor, and two pairs of glasses, one on top of the other. He is sponsored to play poker by Pokerstars.
This native Costa Rican is also full of Latin charm, as he is also one of the most charismatic players at the table. He compliments his crazy looks with crazy antics, having a figurine of a shark that he plays with whenever he pushes all of his chips in.
Humberto Brenes started playing poker when he was 7, learning the game from his father. Humberto was a baccarat player before he turned to poker, a game where he could take money away from all of the tourists visiting the casino.
