J.C. Tran, whose full name is Justin Cuong Van Tran, was born on January 20, 1977 in Nha Trang, Vietnam and is the youngest of eight children. He graduated from California State University with a degree in Business Management Information Systems.  He is now a professional poker player who lives in Sacramento, California.

J.C. Tran went to a casino with his brother when J.C. turned 21.  He got hooked on playing poker and was doing quite well for himself.  The only reason J.C. continued with college was because he was so close to graduating and he wanted that honor.  He was making more money playing poker than he ever would with his degree.

J.C. Tran has already made several World Series of Poker and World Poker Tour final tables, and already has more than 60 money finishes in major tournaments, all but one of them since 2003.  Also, in 2006 J.C. won the main event at the PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker.

J.C. Tran is a very dangerous poker player, and always a threat to win any event he is participating in.  This player who is the youngest of eight children has done very well for himself.
