Jeffrey Lisandro was born in Perth, Australia and is now in his early 40s. He is primarily a cash game player, but enjoys getting out on the tournament circuit as well. He has not won any World Series of Poker or World Poker Tour Events, but he has made the money once at the WPT and has made five WSOP final tables, his first coming in 1997 in a Pot Limit Holdem event that would be won by Phil Hellmuth. He currently plays poker professionally online at Pokerstars.
However, Jeffrey Lisandro still has many significant accomplishments. In December of 2004 he defeated Howard Lederer to win the $25,000 Limit Holdem Heads-Up Tournament. Jeffrey Lisandro considers his biggest achievement to have come in May of 2005, when he defeated Phil Ivey in heads-up play to win the World Series of Poker Circuit Event at Lake Tahoe. Lisandro considers Phil Ivey to be the best poker player in the world, so he considers it a great honor to have beaten Phil heads-up.
Jeffrey Lisandro chews gum at the poker table in an effort to reduce his tells. He has won more than $2 million in tournament play. Jeffrey currently lives in Salerno, Italy.
