In anticipation of dealing out their 40 billionth hand, PokerStars is giving back to the community which made them the poker power house that they are.

Benchmarks are often over looked, unimportant, and anti-climatic online today, but PokerStars is making history soon.

During this month, PokerStars will be handing out money to its players in thanks for such a great run and continuing dominance within the online poker room community. To show their appreciation, players will be rewarded cash prizes at random every millionth hand dealt.

Every time a player is dealt into a hand that is a perfect million, they will be issued $40 to every VPP earned on that table the last 40 hands. Additionally, players who are in this pot, will see it automatically doubled increasing incentive to play.

Happen to be playing in the 40 billionth hand? Stars’ will up the ante, and pay out $400 per every VPP earned the last 40 hands to every player at the table. Be sure to be playing this full ring games when this astronomical number is dealt.

Not only will PokerStars be giving out money in cash games, tournaments will be prize pool splashed with a large amount of cash.

The Sunday million on February 21st will be an enormous $4,000,000 guaranteed prize pool, leaving at least $1,000,000 to the first prize recipient. This tournament will start at 4:30 ET and will have a buy-in of the original Sunday million tournaments, $215.

Still not enough for you? The Sunday million on Valentines day, Feb. 14th, will have a micro buy-in of $40 in honor of the 40 billionth hand played this month. This tournament will start at 2:30 ET. Also, a number of 40 FPP freeroll tournaments will be held that include $40,000 prize pool tournaments and 40-man super sit-and-go’s at a variety of buy-ins for a chance at some of the $40,000.

Lastly, PokerStars’ VIP club members will have the opportunity to trade 2,500 VPP in exchange for $40.
