Let it Ride Poker Rules
Premise
Let It Ride is a simple casino game where players try to make a poker hand that has a rank equal to or higher than a pair of tens. Players are allowed to take back bets if they don’t think they will get tens or better. Otherwise the players “Let It Ride.”
Basic Hand
Each hand of Let It Ride begins with each player making three bets of equal amounts. Once the bets are down, the dealer gives three cards to each player and sets two community cards face down on the table. After looking at their cards, the players can choose to take back one of their three bets if they so desire, or they can “Let It Ride” and keep all of their bets in play.
Once every player has acted, the dealer flips over one of the community cards. Again, each player must choose to either pull a bet out or “Let It Ride”. The two choices have no connection to each other. Players can choose to pull out both times, to “Let It Ride” both times, or to pull out once and “Let it Ride” once.
When the second option phase has been completed, the dealer turns up the second and last community card. Each player’s hand is evaluated and the proper amount, as determined by the casino, is paid out if the player has a qualifying hand. The hand is then completed.
Strategy
The simplest strategy is, of course, to only “Let It Ride” if you are sure that you will make a pair of tens or better. However, it can often be difficult to determine. For the first option, it is best to pull out unless you have a paying hand, or three cards to a monster hand, such as a royal flush or a straight flush. You should always make sure to have at least one card of 10 or better if you “Let It Ride,” even if you are going for a monster.
The same general principles apply to the second option. You should pull a bet out unless you have a paying hand, a royal flush draw, a straight flush draw, a flush draw, or outside straight draws with high cards. It is difficult to determine what the best option is, but I implore you to be very cautious here, as choosing to “Let It Ride” with marginal hands will end up costing you.

This is the standard payout for Let It Ride, and is in use at most casinos. Make sure to check exactly what the payouts are when playing in a casino you haven’t been to before.
