It’s an interesting concept that people are discussing at length in poker forums around the industry. The new software runs great on Macs and PC’s, and they are still accepting players from the USA.
So what the heck are anonymous tables? As the name suggests, you won’t know exactly who you are playing against and you will be unable to track the players using HUD or tournament databases. Poker pros use this data in order to tell exactly what type of player you are, form a strategy against you and then use it as an edge.
This is the first time ever a poker client has offered this feature, which is why it’s become such a controversial subject so quickly. Bodog has never been one to shy away from controversy, that’s for certain! Jonas Odman of Bodog.eu had this to say:

That’s not the only new feature that was added to Bodog as they’ve undergone a new software update that really sets the bar for other poker rooms. With the new software upgrade Bodog poker offers players access to the new rabbit cam, where you can see which cards would have been dealt had the hand continued to play. It’s something that people have wanted to see at poker rooms for a long time.
There have also been some changes to how the poker software at Bodog works, and the end result is a faster and smoother game play and a poker client where everything loads seamlessly. It’s a definite improvement in that area, and another one that people will be glad to hear is that the way Bodog takes rake from each hand has also changed. They will be now taking less out of pots and more situations the hands will be rake free. It’s a big step towards trying to grab some more serious poker players on the network.
In even more additions to the new software, there is now an in game one button for Blackjack, something a lot of Bodog gamblers will find handy. For those that like to play more than one table at once, the new software upgrade allows you to play up to 20 whopping tables at once. Each table can be re-sized perfectly to fit your browser size(s) and it’s an extreme improvement from past versions in this regard. The Bodog Poker bonus is also still one of the best in the business.
Bodog Poker also added 4 new tournament formats giving tourney players more variety to choose from. They added Omaha, Shootout, Knock out and Heads-up tournament formats, keeping up with the mainstream large sites that already have them.
