PokerStars has recently introduced their new high-stakes televised poker game which will be aired nationally.
So you think you can play in the big game and beat out some of the best in the world, now is your chance.
Throughout the next 60 days, PokerStars will be running a number of free satellites to qualify for what they call “The Big Game” television show. In order to earn your seat, you must, and only can qualify by playing these satellites.
How it works: Freerolls are run daily at 17:30 ET, 19:30 ET, 21:30 ET, and 23:30 ET. Each tournament will have a maximum of 5,000 entrants, and players can participate in as many as they want. If you happen to make it to the top 300 of this tournament, you will automatically move on to round two. This tournament requires a top 1,000 finish to move on to the final round. This final tournament will take 200 entrants for the chance to play on “The Big Game.”
Once you have made it to the top 200, you are required to send in an audition tape explaining why you deserve to play on national television.
Why would you want to qualify for this?
PokerStars is putting up $100k of their money to buy you into this game. You will be playing a session of $200/$400 NL Hold’em with some of the best PokerStars has to offer. The more sessions you end up a winner, the more televised tables you play. The best part, players get to keep their winnings.
Stars’ will also accommodate you and a guest to Las Vegas for the taping, as well as added spending cash while you are enjoying your trip.
