Crazy Pineapple Poker is a variant of the community card poker game Texas Holdem. What differentiates Crazy Pineapple Poker from Texas Holdem is that, in Crazy Pineapple Poker, players each receive three cards instead of two during the initial deal.

The difference between Crazy Pineapple Poker and Pineapple Poker is the point in time at which players discard.

In a Crazy Pineapple Poker game, players keep all three cards and play just as they would in a Texas Holdem game. However, players are forced to discard one card after the second betting round, before the fourth community card is dealt. This is unlike Pineapple Poker because players would discard during the beginning of the hand. There is also a poker game known as Tahoe Poker where no cards are discarded.

Crazy Pineapple Poker does play well in the form of high low split, however regular Pineapple Poker does not.
