Gavin Griffin was born on August 28, 1981 in Darien, Illinois, and went on to study at Texas Christian University in, Texas. So far, Gavin Griffin’s his life has been pretty unremarkable except at the poker table. Gavin Griffin made his way into the European Poker Tour Main Event in 2007 after winning a $240 online WSOP satellite at PokerStars.  Gavin Griffin went on to win the EPT Main Event, earning a prize of almost $2.5 million.

Gavin Griffin has had some dry spells in between his two major victories, but he is a regular in the poker tournament scene and always a threat to go far. Gavin Griffin currently resides in Orange County, California with his girlfriend Kirstin and his pets. He has also been involved in breast cancer awareness campaigns and he actually went on to win the EPT Monte Carlo with his hair dyed pink as a show of support to the cause.
