On Saturday, Dec. 4 at 3 p.m. ET, Mac Poker Online will be hosting a private $500 freeroll for all Mac Poker Online players who topped the 100 point mark on PokerStars in the previous month.
If you signed up for PokerStars, entered ‘MPONLINE’ as your bonus code and topped 100 Frequent Player Points (FPP) in the previous month, you will be emailed and freeroll ticket a few days prior to the Dec. 4 start date. The same eligibility requirements will be applied to the second and third $500 freerolls, which are scheduled for January 15, 2011 and February 12, 2011 on PokerStars.
Play any PokerStars game with a rake or fee and you’ll earn VIP Player Points (VPP). For every VPP you are awarded, you will also earn FPPs, based on your VIP level. PokerStars tournaments get you 5.5 VPPs for each $1.00 in fee paid. You’ll earn 5.5 VPPs for each $1.00 in rake collected in short-handed cash games. Tables eight-handed or better award 6 VPPs for each $1.00 in rake.
In the PokerStars rewards program you begin as a Bronze member, earning 1 FPP per VPP, but if you compile 750 VPP in a month you’ll earn SilverStar status and accumulate points at a rate of 1.5 to 1. Goldstar members, at 3,000 VPP a month, will double their earnings and take home 2 to 1, while Platimum players who reach 7,500 VPP will multiply at a rate of 2.5 to 1, meaning a little over one VPP per day would qualify you for our cash giveaways.
